Udo is a renowned Belgian singer, songwriter, and new age pianist. Graduating cum laude in Communication Management from Erasmus University College in Brussels, he began his career in corporate communications before winning The X-Factor on VTM at 30, which led to a deal with Sony BMG. Soon after, he triumphed in VRT's Zo Is Er Maar Een, with his rendition of "Ik Mis Je Zo" becoming a Dutch classic.

Udo has since released multiple gold-status albums with Sony and Universal Music, and his award-winning songwriting spans top international artists like Jolin Tsai, Sandra Kim, and The Tenors, including over ten talent show winners across Europe, Asia, and Africa. He also scored Belgium's top-grossing film of 2020, Viva Boma. Inspired by French icons Michel Berger and Luc Plamondon, Udo now explores French music and ambient piano works under names like Umeå Bodø, while mentoring young Belgian talent. His ultimate goal is to win the Eurovision Song Contest as a performer or songwriter.
